Adult Services

  • Assistive Technology prescription, recommendations and training

(e.g - manual and powered wheelchair assessment, walking frame/gait trainer assessment and prescription, complex seating, commode and bathroom assistive technology, pressure area management)

 • Workplace and home environmental safety assessment/review

 • Supported Independent Living (SIL) mobility and transfers review 

 

• Transfers and Manual Handling Profile Assessments (including hoist training and manual handling training)  

• Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (both pre and post surgery support)

 • Pain management

 • Stroke recovery 

 • Fall prevention programs

Paediatric Services

 • Developmental assessments and interventions (e.g - learning to crawl, stand, walk). Support with linking in with paediatric services regarding diagnosis of more complex conditions. 

 • Promotion of gross motor skill developmental progress and movement acquisition

 • Paediatric Assistive Technology prescription (e.g - paediatric sized walking frames, standing frames, wheelchairs, custom seating)

 • Assistance with recovery after surgery (e.g - orthopaedic input after hip surgery) 

 • Support regarding a child’s condition and development

 • Promotion of healthy lifestyles
